Artist Talk with Nazar Bilik

12.05.2019 - 12.05.2019

This Sunday, May the 12th, at 3:00 pm we will meet for an artist talk with Nazar Bilik for a glass of wine!

In his works, Nazar Bilyk explores human and his relations with society and environment. Bronze, steel, glass, polymers, exhibition space and light are Bilik’s favorite materials that he carefully combines while analyzing the boundaries of the concept of “modern sculpture”.

In “Space Around”, featured on the sculptural project “Reforming the Space”, Nazar continues his main line of creativity. It is devoted to the interaction of man and the surrounding space, the study of the specifics of the construction of the form and perception of our consciousness. On the one hand, this work is characterized by anthropocentrism; Turning to the counter-form that precedes the appearance of form in the sculpture, the author seems to direct his view of the inner world and through it looks at the outer world, looks inside the process of creation, slightly pushing aside the veil of mystery, but leaving space for imagination.

Come and find out more about contemporary artists!
