Jaume Plence in Kiev!

A sculptor who is regularly included into the collections of the world’s most creative and renowned sculptors, whose work can be found both in the center of Madrid and in Center Pompidou, will visit Ukraine or the first time to read a single lecture.
It will take place at M17 on May the 22nd at 7:00 pm.

Catalan artist Jaume Plensa is known for his monumental sculpture-installations, in which large-scale anthropomorphic figures emerge from letters, sounds, and light in the midst of everyday life. His creations are sweeping the streets and parks around the world, attracting the attention of millions of viewers.

Jaume will talk about:

– public art
– how to install a 12-meter sculpture in the center of Madrid?
– how do you strike a balance between popularity and high art?
– how do you get to the level of being shown at museums such as Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, Tate Gallery in Liverpool and Center Pompidou in Paris?

Entrance, as usual, with M17 ticket:
100 UAH for adults
70 UAH for students and seniors

Quantity, of course, is limited! Tickets are available at the box office.
