On July 10, 2021, at 18:00 event #12 in the M17 CAC, on the ІV Day of the M17 International Art Collectors’ Forum, there will be a roundtable discussion “Prospects for Art Collecting in Ukraine” held by collectors Andrii Adamovskiy, Zenko Aftanaziv, and Yuri Komelkov.

Andrii Adamovskiy – philanthropist, a member of the Ukrainian Club of Contemporary Art Collectors. His collection of works by Ukrainian and Russian artists of the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries is considered one of the largest in Ukraine. In 2010, Adamovskiy founded the Ukrainian Avant-Garde Foundation. And in 2018 he founded his own Adamovskiy Foundation, whose activities are aimed at preserving and studying the cultural heritage of Ukraine and Eastern Europe. In 2010, he initiated the establishment of the M17 Contemporary Art Center in order to infuse fresh ideas into the art of Ukraine and acquaint Ukrainian society with leading world trends. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Center. In 2019, with a special commitment to modern sculpture, Andriy Adamovskiy supported the idea of establishing the first in Ukraine professional award for sculptors M17 Sculpture Prize, which is held on the basis of CAC M17.
Zenko Aftanaziv, collector, philanthropist, founding member of the Ukrainian Club of Contemporary Art Collectors, founder of the Zenko Foundation. He actively supports international communications in the arts and culture by working to build a positive image of the country, increase interest in modern Ukrainian culture and develop cultural diplomacy. Among the landmark projects of the Zenko Foundation are the Permanent Revolution (including the exhibition at the Ludwig Museum, Cologne, Germany, and the book of the same name by Alisa Lozhkina), the exhibition I Am a Drop in the Ocean. Art of the Ukrainian Revolution (Vienna Künstlerhaus exhibition complex, Austria) and many others.
Yuri Komelkov – publisher, gallery owner, collector. Head and co-owner of CULTPROSTIR.UA, author of the project «UKRAINE. THE BEST», owner of the publishing house «ATLANT-UMS». His collection includes about 1,000 works by contemporary Ukrainian artists.
Natalia Shpytkovska, Director of the M17 CAC, art consultant, a researcher at the Modern Art Research Institute of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, head of the project An Open Opportunity.
