On July 9, 2021, at 19:00 event #8 in the M17 CAC, on the ІІI Day of the M17 International Art Collectors’ Forum, there will be a roundtable discussion “Prospects for Art Collecting in Ukraine” held by Elena Zavelev, Michael Tsarev, Aida Dzhangirova, Denis Chistyakov and Ivan Podmasko (Synoptic).

Elena Zavelev, founder and CEO of CADAF, the world’s first Crypto and Digital Art Fair. Founder and CEO of the New Art Academy, an educational resource on high-tech art, blockchain, and artificial intelligence for the global art market. Elena consulted many art businesses on marketing strategy and content, including 1stDibs, Collectrium (Christie’s Auction House), and Skate’s Art Market Research. She is an author of articles on the synthesis of art and new technologies for Forbes and Observer Media Group.
Michael Tsarev, collector, philanthropist, founding member of the Ukrainian Club of Contemporary Art Collectors, founder of the Michael Tsarev Art Collection. His collection’s specialty is having lots of objects that are still perceived as “unconventional” artworks for collecting: installations, video art. Michael Tsarev is also the founder and ideologist of the LINOLEUM Contemporary Animation and Media Art Festival. Furthermore, he was behind the founding of the Moscow Contemporary Art Collectors Club.
Aida Dzhangirova, Managing Partner and Curator of an international project Blockchain Art Hackathon that provides opportunities for artists to display their own vision of innovative technologies through the creation of art objects. Blockchain Art Hackathon brings together artists, IT professionals, economists, and business people to develop the Blockchain culture.
Denis Chistyakov, collector, NFT market expert.
Ivan Podmasko (Synoptic), lawyer, an expert in digital law, blockchain, and venture projects, Metaverse researcher. He built an observatory in Decentraland and a gallery in Cryptovoxels virtual world. Creator and collector of digital art.
Natalia Shpytkovska, Director of the M17 CAC, art consultant, a researcher at the Modern Art Research Institute of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, head of the project An Open Opportunity.
