On July 8, 2021, at 19:00 event #5 in the M17 CAC, on the ІІ Day of the M17 International Art Collectors’ Forum, there will be a roundtable discussion “Digital Art Collecting. Prospects for Blockchain Art” held by Ukrainian collectors of modern art Vadym Morokhovskyy, Borys Grynyov, and Viktor Korsak

Vadym Morokhovskyy, collector, member of the Ukrainian Club of Contemporary Art Collectors, Honored Economist of Ukraine, founder of The Museum of Odesa Modern Art (2008). The MSMO foundation includes over 1 600 pieces of art by leading Odesa artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The focus of Vadym Morokhovskyy’s personal collection is on the works by modern Odesa artists of the first decades of the 20th century, especially by Mykhailo Zhuk. The ultimate purpose of collecting art, in the view of the collector, is to create a new society through education.
Borys Grynyov, collector, philanthropist, member of the Ukrainian Club of Contemporary Art Collectors, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, founder of the Grynyov Art Collection. Grynyov’s collection consists of more than 3 000 works, including the art of the first half of the 20th century (representatives of socialist realism, constructivist art, Boychukists), Ukrainian unofficial art of the 1960s – mid-1980s and the transformative period between the 1980s and mid-1990s. The Kharkiv School of Photography also constitutes an important element in the collection.
Viktor Korsak, collector and founder of The Korsak’s Museum of Ukrainian Modern Art in Lutsk, Ukraine. The museum complex features works by more than 100 prominent Ukrainian artists, a total of more than 800 objects of painting, graphics, sculpture, installations, video art from the mid-20th century to the present.
