Over the course, participants of the program take part in various workshops in different forms of art, including graphics, painting, ceramics, collage, etc.
The programme is initiated and implemented with the support of NAA Ukraine, The Aleksandr Savchuk Foundation and Art Support Fund. The program lasted for 4 months and included providing the participants with all the necessary materials and is supposed to take place inthe National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (NAAU) and M17 Contemporary Art Center (M17 CAC).
Approach
During the first hour of the session, two artists will work simultaneously with a group of children and mothers. Participants of the program can use different media including graphics, painting, ceramics, collage, etc.
During the second hour the participants will discuss their feelings and thoughts with professional psychologists. Through a discussion with the psychologists and an insight into what the participants have depicted, they should get relief. Moreover, through a joint activity, they would get carried away when involved in the therapy process.
After the program is completed, psychologists will write conclusions and prepare a report on the work done.
The results

- The proposed program will allow us to collect valuable practical material and study the psychological aspects of the impact of artistic practices of impact on people’s psychological state caused by traumas.
