“UCF Reporting Project” is now completed
20.01.2020On January 19, the UCF Reporting Project, prepared by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and the M17 Contemporary Art Center on the basis on the Foundation’s annual activity was completed. We are glad that we were given a wonderful opportunity to acquaint our visitors to the contemporary cultural context of the country!
- 2000 visitors found out more about the achievements of Ukrainian culture and its potential for further development by learning about projects supported by the UCF.
- 15 randomly selected projects were presented at the M17 Contemporary Art Center for 1.5 months.
- 433 projects in various fields of culture were supported by the Foundation in 2019.
Over the project, we talked about how to build a critical museum with art critic Zhenya Molyar (based on this year’s example of Kmytiv Museum of Soviet Art named in honour Josyp Bukhanchuk) and what is needed to improve the conditions of Podilsky embankment with Yurii Granovskyi from Agenty Zmin, learned how to initiate a relationship with art from the Date with Art project team and how we can understand the source of social hatred with the On the Other Side project team, and travelled around Ukraine with the Ukraїner. And of course, during the UCF InfoDays, were tried to intricacies of applying for grants, which are now being actively analyzed by UCF experts. We are waiting for the results of 2020. It will be even hotter!
