About the artwork

“This is my first year in the workshops at 22 Nagornaya. I opened my studio on all the open days this year and was absolutely happy with how many people came. Communication and the very opportunity to see and hear each other kept me going during these terrible times of war. As a symbol of hospitality and the pleasure of communication, I have collected empty boxes of chocolates and various treats from those days. It’s my little project: Levkas on boxes is a memory of our meetings at open days in my workshop 326 from July 2022 to June 2023. Now there are new sweets on the table, I’m treating you today: eat your hearts out – let’s continue this project together.”
