Humilevskyi Artem

Artem was born in 1986 in Mykolaiv, Ukraine.

He graduated from the Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies (engineering) and later studied economics at Krok University.

From 2003 to 2022, he served in senior management at an agrarian company and advised on culture, education, and sports for the Mykolaiv Regional Council.

In 2019, he began studying photography at the MYPH School under Sergey Melnychenko. He was a finalist in the 2021 NIDA OFF competition in Lithuania and won the 2022 Global Peace Photo Award (Alfred Fried Medal).

His series Giant and Rootsexplore personal and collective identity, and his work has been featured in over 80 exhibitions, including at the Odesa National Fine Arts Museum, Miami Art Basel, Klaipėda Photo Festival, and Photo Days Rovinj.
