Date of birth: 1992
Place of residence: Kyiv

Halya Andrusenko was born in 1992. Lives and works in Kyiv.

Education:

2020 – 2021 – Kyiv Academy of Media Arts

2011 – 2018 – The National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Master degree)

2007 – 2011 – Shevshenko State Art School

2019 – Participation in performance school in Lviv (course by Jasmin Schaitl)

2019 – member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine

2017 – participating in Lend-art lectures and workshops

In 2022, her paintings “Neptune” and “Amphitrite” from series “Protected” was accepted into the 59th La Biennale di Venezia art exhibition, pavilion “Piazza Ucraina”. Now in her artworks, Halyna explores the reflection of war on the form of things.

2022 – Co-curator of the project “Don’t close your eyes”. Boston. USA

2021 – Visual project of painting the walls of the symbolic synagogue “A place for reflection” commissioned by the Holocaust Memorial Center “Babyn Yar”. Kyiv

2016-2018 – Participation in the paintings of St. Michael’s Cathedral in Zhytomyr

Awards

2018 – Gold medal of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture for the Babel Tower diploma project.
