11 September 1946 – the artist was born in Yahotyn, Kyiv region
1976 – graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute, Faculty of Painting (studio of V. Puzyrykov)
1978 – member of the Artists’ Union of Ukraine
1978 – acquaintance with Rishard Vrublevskyi, a patron and later the owner of the largest collection of the artist’s works
1990 – the resonance of the painting “Crimson Heights” at the Republican Art Exhibition in Kyiv
1992-1995 – active participant of the “Picturesque Reserve”
2011 – the painting “Horse. Night” was sold for a record-breaking amount of $121,343 at the Philips auction
2011 – laureate of the national award “Person of the Year” in the nomination “Artist of the Year”
2012 – laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine in the field of Fine Arts (for the series of paintings “Ukrainian Motif”)
2016 – the artist founded a personal prize for young artists
2021 – member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine
2014-2022 (23) – the artist creates paintings for the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Lypivka village (Makariv district, Kyiv region).
