“Collaging is my medium of choice because searching for and combining different images to create something new embodies the search for my own identity and sense of self. The images are digitally edited to achieve my vision without the limitations of the paper dimensions of each cutout.

“Before I Go” is a visual translation of the internal struggle of letting go and holding on in the journey of becoming who you want to be. It was inspired by the question of “what would you do/who would you be if you knew you had no time left on earth?” Would you be holding on to the beautiful things in life to cherish them, or would you let them go to reach for the bigger dreams you have been putting off?”
