“I am a pianist, a singer, a composer and a collagist from Madrid.
These collages are inspired by freedom. They speak about the need to be free, the rights to live safe and secure, respected, and the fine line that separates this freedom from pain and fragility.”
Pianist, singer, composer and collagist from Madrid (Spain).
“In the last three years I’ve had 7 individual exhibitions in Madrid. “Collagera de Emociones”, with 32 collages, has made an itinerant tour of three Equality Spaces in the Community of Madrid between 2021 and 2022. Later I’ve presented “Juegos” (La cabra en el Tejado, 2022), “Escenas donde encontrarse” (El Sitio S, 2022), “Fantasías de papel” (Actual Restaurante, 2022/23) and “Recortes de papel” (Cafelito, 2023).
I’ve participated in the Cutout Festival (Kyiv Museum of History, Ukraine, 2021) and Cutout Again! (2022) and in the collective exhibition “Antifash” organized by Eje Central (Moloch Galería Taller, Mexico, with the second edition in Playa del Carmen, 2022). Selected for the 10th Mostra d’Art en Femení at the C.C. Torre Llobeta in Barcelona (Spain, 2022) and for the exhibition of the 5th Anniversary of Mujeres que Cortan y Pegan (2022).
I received the 2021 Acquisition Award from Mujeres que Cortan y Pegan for my work “¡Vuela!”. I’ve participated in collective exhibitions such as those organized by Vayo Collage Gallery in New York (“Compression” 2021, “Todo y nada” 2022 and “New dimensions in Collage” 2023), “Collage y palabra” (Matadero de Madrid, 2020), “International Absurdity Day” (Star Gallery & Dom Kultury Wlochy, Poland, Warsaw, 2021) or “Leer nos hace libres” (Tipos infames, 2020), among others.
I have also participated in virtual exhibitions such as “Global Conversations” (Cambridge University, UK, selected along with 27 other artists from various disciplines to celebrate Crassh’s 20th anniversary in 2021), “El Impacto humano en el mundo marino” (Red Collage Peru, May 2022) or “Planeta Ilustraçao” (Universidade do Papel de Brasil, 2020), among others.”
