“For the “Freedom Index/Dualism of Freedom” I intuitively chose four works from my oevre that perfectly represent this theme for me. Although each collage stands on its own, they also work as a series and complement each other. The selection of collages are black and white, they take themselves in the colorfulness consciously back. All of them consist of only a few necessary image elements, which brings a great clarity and the reduction to their essence. This makes them even stronger in their individual statements.

All works are based on the idea of the inner freedom and dignity of the human being, which cannot be touched by anything. At the same time, all the works take up the theory of dualism, the mutual interrelation between the physical and mental worlds, and affirm not least the power of the imagination, which can give comfort and hope, and overcome boundaries.”
