Kyryliuk Lana
Lana (Svitlana) Kyryliuk was born in 1981 in Zhytomyr.
She is currently studying for a bachelor’s degree at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture and working on her own art projects and research.
“My art is a special way of exploring myself and the world around me. Looking for answers to external questions, I turn to my inner experience, allowing it to manifest itself on canvas. With my works, I try to build my own inner art, which can sometimes be unacceptable to other viewers.
For me, the creative process is a journey into my inner self, an exploration of what creates my essence. I do not limit myself to genres or styles, but experiment with different artistic approaches and techniques. Ideas come from life itself, from meetings, observations, and my own inner experience. I try to establish my identity and find my own unique artistic language.
Through my art, I want to make the viewer a participant in my inner experience, as well as encourage them to think about their own existence and attitude to the world. My works can evoke different emotions and interpretations, and this is what makes them special.
For me, art is a way to express my thoughts, feelings and vision of the world. As an artist, I am constantly evolving, experimenting with techniques and materials, sometimes going beyond the usual. My goal is to evoke reflections and feelings in the viewers, to inspire them to discover new horizons of world perception.
My art is a search, self-improvement and meeting with myself. I believe that art has the power to change the world, expand consciousness and inspire action. And through each of my creative exhibitions, I hope to convey my vision to the audience and give them emotions that will remain in their hearts.”
