About the artwork

The abstract images represent young people, representatives of a globalised generation shaped by the Internet and social media. Their faces are hidden by digital filters, reflecting the impact of virtual interactions on identity. The use of bright colours and shape-shifting patterns helps to emphasise the disappearance of differences in their features, highlighting the homogenising effect of online culture.
