“My name is Tatiana and I make collages. What is a collage for me? This is when I don’t ask myself “why?”, “how?” and “is that right?” – I just do it. I really like words, some of them sound and look so interesting that I want to touch them. This is how my collages come out: words and letters, backgrounds and cutouts, pieces of something combined with something else.

Sometimes my collages are not decorated with subtext and I make them simply because I liked the combination of colors or textures, but in fact it is a sublimation of my experiences, it is something that is sometimes difficult to convey in words.

I explore myself and the world around me, themes of fear, anxiety, confrontation between nature and man, human traits that can bring happiness and suffering.

In order to live in the present, you need to look into the past. Now we are fighting for our land, freedom and identity, but is this the first time? I want to say that freedom is never given just like that, but it is possible to feel free even in a totalitarian regime, if you know who you are.”
