“Through my artworks, I explore female experiences with the aim of redefining and rediscovering the concept of femininity. Cutting and moving papers without any limitation with my own hands is liberating. This spontaneous process provides unexpected associations and connections for my exploration.

Suppressing emotions in order to feel some kind of stability (especially in case of war) can be a natural survival strategy. What does it mean to not allow yourself to feel something? Where, in such circumstances, do emotions go? My female character has her own personal battle to allow the pain in and let complex emotions flow fully and freely through her body. In these three scenes, I have created space for her to connect with her powerful emotions.”
