Zolotariov Oleksii
Реальна скульптура з травертину (тибурського каменю) «Геометрична архаїка» існує в Каневі у парковій зоні. Художник пропонує споглядати цю роботу, але в інших розмірах, у AR в місті Києві на площі Либідська. На цьому місці раніше був пам’ятник чекістам Василя Бородая, який знесено у 2016 році. Багато хто вважає, що у цього публічного простору існують певні «фантомні болі», тому художникові було цікаво зануритися в експеримент і запропонувати інші сенси.
Чи мав би там бути за концепцією саме пам’ятник? Пам’ятник чекістам? Адже відомо, що його було встановлено у 1965 році, а сама площа виникла раніше. Художник звертається до абсолютно інших меседжів. В основі концепції твору — історія про скіфських баб, ідолів, воїнів, що стояли на охороні людей, селищ. Ці архетипи художник пов’язує сьогодні з поняттям Сім’ї.
Родина — як трансформація воїнів, як єднання окремих елементів за певними принципами. Олексій об’єднав елементи скульптури за законами геометрії. В умовах глобалізації та істотних соціальних змін поняття родини дуже змінилося і трансформувалося. Раніше сім’я була певною формою виживання, разом було простіше обробляти землю, захищатися тощо. У ХХІ сторіччі кожен розуміє поняття Сім’ї по-своєму. До прикладу, дехто взагалі не вірить у родинні зв’язки або обирає нестандартні, некласичні формули для стосунків. Але для художника особисто родина — дуже комфортна форма стосунків, що надихає.

Education.
In 2003, he graduated from the State Art High School named after Taras Shevchenko, faculty of sculpture.
2010 National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (NAFA), faculty of sculpture.
2013 Residence at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Wakefield, England.
Creative path
The picture of the world in his works is reduced to the laconicism of geometric construction, where the archaic and the modern, the mental and the material, the male and the female are combined in syncretism or dynamic opposition.
Choosing simple basic geometric shapes, the sculptor builds a fine line between fullness and emptiness, as if visualising spatial, chronological and semantic connections between different elements of reality, its micro and macro structure and dialectical essence.
In his works, Oleksii expands the boundaries of personal space, involving the global, social, and painful, and records the results of the impact.
The sharp and mobile open volumes capture a sense of the complex dynamics of the modern world and the cultural situation of his own country in its context.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, winner of the competition from the Ukrainian Crisis Media Centre for the installation of urban sculpture, winner of the Kyiv Sculpture Project, winner of the Kyiv Mayor’s Award; founder of the Radius residence of volumetric thinking (Kyiv).
