Tut i Tam
Tut i Tam Video, 10 minutes 3 seconds, 2025
About the artwork

The artwork explores the visualized absence and immaterial presence through the lens of a Ukrainian artist who, due to the war, found herself in Scotland. Forced to live between the ephemeral spaces of “Tut” and “Tam” — constantly merging, clashing, and drifting apart — the artist reflects on trauma and personal growth using her video and photo archive. Imagined and material experiences of both places blend into a subjective reality, where family, art, and identity in wartime appear both fragile and unbreakable.
