KN-23 Lulluby
KN-23 Lulluby 60×60×210 cm, burned wood, steel, debris of a russian missile, 2025
About the artwork

“KN-23 Lullaby” is named after a ballistic missile produced in North Korea, which russia has actively deployed in its war against Ukraine.

The sculpture’s form references carousel-shaped music boxes that play mechanical lullabies for children. Instead of traditional figures like horses or ballerinas, the installation features fragments of a Russian missile, captured in a meditative motion.

The carved ornaments, developed through custom type design techniques, echo the structural elements and visual features of the missile itself.
