About the artwork

Робота є частиною серії «Abandoned Flowers» («Полишені квіти»). Кожен мандрівник (біженець), який залишив свій дім, залишив там своє життя. Полишені квіти є алегоричним тлом стану душі під час вимушеної подорожі.

Tsoi Nikita
Date of birth: 1991
Place of residence: Kyiv

Nikita Tsoi was born in 1991 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

He graduated from two art schools, the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, and the Kyiv Academy of Media Arts.

The artist works on constructing the historical narrative of the post-ideological climate of recent decades. He views the individual as a bearer of ideological consciousness, seeking its own basis and exploring its acceptance and dissonance with itself. This is a search for the boundary between the anatomical and anti-anatomical, between truth and the distortion of truth.
