Synchrodogs is a Ukrainian artistic duo formed in 2008 by Tania Shcheglova (b. 1989) and Roman Noven (b. 1984), working in photography, video, and fashion advertising.
Their imagery blends surreal dreamscapes with natural motifs, exploring the thin boundary between dream and reality, often merging bodies with landscapes. Notable series include Reverie Sleep (2013), based on hypnagogic hallucinations, and Supernatural (2015), shot in the American Southwest.
Their work has been exhibited internationally at venues like Dallas Contemporary, Pinchuk Art Centre, Palais de Tokyo, Benaki Museum, and Annenberg Space for Photography. They have received numerous awards, including the FOAM Construct (2012), PinchukArtCentre Prize shortlist (2013), Palm* Photo Prize shortlist (2019), LensCulture Award (2022), Feature Shoot and PhMuseum grants. Synchrodogs have been commissioned by New York Magazine, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, British Journal of Photography, Dazed & Confused, Esquire, among others.
