About the artwork

“The topic I am raising in this project is the phenomenon of military propaganda. Observing social processes in the world, it is easy to see how propaganda influences people’s behaviour, how the necessary messages are planted in their minds, and how their worldview is shaped.

Propaganda uses manipulation to achieve predetermined goals. Propaganda is primarily about the people who create it. Trying to achieve the desired, propagandists resort to lies, distortion of facts and distraction. For me, as an artist, the most important thing is to create a generalised image of a propagandist. Propaganda depersonalises people, turning them into mere carriers of narratives.”

“Through my art, I strive to express my conceptual vision of the world. My work is based on the study of programming and artificial intelligence, philosophy, sociology and psychology, and my goal is to translate my ideas and knowledge into modern approaches and practices.

As an artist, I am inspired by the works of contemporary artists who push the boundaries of what is possible in art. The experience of Anselm Kiefer and Manolo Valdes is very interesting for me. I studied how they work with materials and painting techniques. Now I work with different art materials, with different paints and surfaces. Noticing modern technologies, I experiment in art, exploring the possibilities of collaboration between an artist and artificial intelligence.

My creative process starts with paying attention to objects that may seem insignificant, but on closer inspection have a deep meaning. It can be a wall that lives and watches what is happening, a map that defines our lives, and other specific visual images. I research their meaning, try to feel how they change in times of global change, and try to convey this meaning through my art, using different techniques and materials.

People are important to me. As a person interested in sociology and psychology, I look at how society exists and what influences it. I explore the meanings it produces in the difficult times in which it exists. Through my art, I aim to encourage critical thinking about the state of the world and human existence, to inspire viewers to reflect on their own existence and to push them to take action that improves the world.

In general, I see my art as a means of creating a space for reflection and inspiration for viewers to question their existence, rethink it and engage with the world in a more intelligent and conscious way.”
