Обидві роботи присвячені локації ленд-арт-симпозіуму «Простір Покордоння», де 25 років поспіль, від 1997 року, художники співдіяли з ландшафтом навколо могрицького городища VIII–XIII століть доби Київських князів та закинутого крейдяного кар’єру.
Високий правий берег розлогої заплави стрімкої ріки Псел утворив унікальний ландшафт, який весь час продувається вітрами, сповненими не лише запахами різнотрав’я, а й запахом моря від крейди, яка власне і є дном давнього геологічного моря, що колись розкинулось на всій території Сумщини.
Це неймовірне відчуття співу вітру крізь шелест трави та очерету наче прокладає стежку в доісторичне узбережжя від небокраю до небокраю, і коли вглядаєшся в небосхил, губишся і в просторі, і в часі.
Ganna Gidora is a Ukrainian painter, land-art artist, educator, and organizer of international plein-air symposia, and a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. One of the pioneers of Ukrainian land art, she founded and for many years led the international land-art symposium in Mohrytsia, Sumy region (“The Space of the Borderland”), which became a key platform for experiments in environmental art — the first place where painters, sculptors, graphic artists, and media artists tried their hand at eco-art.
Gidora’s painting is not about real space or narrative but about inner state: saturated yet restrained colors (ochre-greens, grey-blues, golden-reds), a linear-silhouette rhythm, and textured brushwork combine into a distinctive “force field” of human feeling and mood. Her imagery draws on the landscapes, archaeology, and history of her native region (the series “Place of Presence” and “Byzantine Dreams”).
Between 1986 and 1996 she experimented with ceramics (polychrome ceramic-plastic compositions, raku), and since the late 1990s she has worked actively in land art and site-specific objects — directly with the materials of a given place: chalk, willow, marsh grass, and river silt.

1993 — founded the department of fine and decorative-applied arts at the Higher School of Arts and Culture, Sumy.
