Mazurok Sasha
The installation “Workshop on Wheels” is based on the artist’s experience of constant travel. It is a means of visual interpretation of constant movement and change. The artist is looking for a way to interpret the idea of constant movement and relocation and the impact of mobility on the artistic process. The main element of the installation is a rocla, which is a movable platform on which canvases, boxes and stretchers are placed. The canvases are arranged in a chaotic order. This arrangement tells the viewer about the different stages of the artistic process – research, experiments, searches, problems and, of course, the work itself. The boxes contain art materials: brushes, paints, photographs, sculptures and other items that are an integral part of the artist’s studio.
