About the artwork

“Understanding the trauma of war. A feeling of emptiness and a connection between the past and the present. History moves in cycles. And now we have received another confirmation of it.

Creating collages fulfils my deep need to create order out of chaos, to find stability in flux. My work reflects on the human experiences of war conflicts, focusing on the themes of struggle, loss, resilience and freedom. Through my collages, I aim to challenge the viewer’s perception of these events and highlight the enduring impact that they have had on society.

By using magazine cutouts and juxtaposing them , I hope to create a dialogue about the collective memory of these conflicts and the ways in which they continue to shape our world. I work with layers of meaning and memory.

Ultimately, my goal is to create art that is both thought-provoking and visually engaging, inviting the viewer to reflect on the past while considering its impact on the present and future. Thank you for considering my work.”
