About the artwork

“My collage often questions the role of imagery and iconology and how it can be used as a point of departure for contemporary social, political and cultural discourse. Throughout my 3 years of artistic practice, I have been experimenting with the idea of pushing art beyond the white cube setting and art can be a tool for advocacy for social changes. I researched the unconventional use of collaging as political expression when I started my practice. This eventually evolves into also working with text, ephemeral installations as well as photography.”
