About the artwork

“Numbers” is a kinetic art object where the focus is not on physical form, but on its dynamic projection. The main material used is metal stencils of Arabic numerals — archaic carriers of information that humanity has used for centuries to measure the world and describe it with formulas.

Thanks to constant movement and the layering of shadows, familiar symbols are transformed into a continuous stream of new signs. This visual game can be perceived as a metaphor for information noise or as a meditative kaleidoscopic ornament. The viewer balances between pure visual contemplation and an attempt to find meaning: the eye subconsciously picks out familiar contours of numbers in the chaos of graphic lines, filling the abstraction with its own meaning.
