Borys Medvedev, a resident of SRZ-2 and a participant in the exhibition “Swimming Was Not Allowed in the Plant’s Aquatorium,” discusses the architectural group’s work:
“This year, our team hosted a week-long workshop at SRZ-2 with a public program to “outline” the future of this urban space. We reformatted this workshop in a room on the second floor in the aesthetics of a standard office for the exhibition “Swimming Was Not Allowed in the Plant’s Aquatorium” in M17 CAC. Perhaps the use of irony in regard to the gallery space will encourage visitors to reconsider the appropriateness of certain buildings in the metropolitan city.”
