About the artwork

Usually when I sit in the back seat of a taxi, I open the window halfway and watch the scenery — clouds, trees, lights in house windows.

I noticed something interesting.

When you look at still trees, you see branches and leaves — beauty.

But when you observe trees from a moving car, they blur into a single horizontal line. This effect becomes especially striking at dusk, with a crimson sunset behind them.

This is the difference between stillness and motion.

Any physicist could easily explain it, yet even they might miss it, absorbed in daily routine.

Ukrainian multidisciplinary artist.

Andrew began his creative journey with graffiti, with its spirit of provocation and rule-breaking. A dialogue with urban space became his first language of self-expression, through which he gradually moved beyond street culture and turned toward broader and deeper topics.

Today, the artist studies and integrates into his work personal observations on society alongside scientific, sociocultural, and behavioural research, which, through the lens of his art, addresses the unconscious, behavioural patterns, and the global challenges of humanity.

His practice includes installation, painting, objects, and media projects.

He currently lives and works in Lviv.
