Introductory course: History of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture

15.01.2019 - 29.01.2019

A full understanding of a work of art requires knowledge and understanding of the means of artistic expression. The creative perception of work depends on the tools used by the painter, graphic artist or sculptor. Therefore, the ability not only to see, but also to understand a true language of art is essential for all art lovers. Elena Borimskaya’s course will teach you how to navigate a variety of plastic art systems (figurative and non-figurative). Plunging into the artistic “kitchen” in its evolutionary development, we will find the points of intersection of classical and contemporary artistic practices.
