About the artwork

Private anguish will only exist in secret chambers in the future, as black as the grief of losing a neighbor. The narrative of the five (mourning of Christ by the Virgin Mary), which serves as the canvas’s foundation, attests to the permanence of some things – such as death, sadness, and the loss of light – that will stay with a man in the future.
