Budnikova Anastasiia
It doesn’t matter when you come here. I can barely stay afloat. A black streak. In any case, we have everything we need to keep from falling. This is a place where time stops, where each breath feels like a struggle. We hold on to hope, even when there is only darkness around.
Anastasiia Budnikova is a visual artist and graphic designer, born in Kyiv in 1979.
She graduated from the State Art High School named after Taras Shevchenko and the National Academy of Fine Art and Architecture in Kyiv, where she studied from 1990 to 2004. In 2022, she was a participant in the artistic residency of the East of Art Foundation in Krakow.
Budnikova works in the fields of graphics, painting, and video art. Her works are held in private collections in Ukraine, Germany, and the United States. She is an active participant in numerous exhibitions and art projects in Ukraine and beyond.
