This work reflects the human susceptibility to internal and external attacks. It is an allegory of how we are daily wounded by news, fears, reproaches, comparisons, and the non-acceptance of ourselves as we are. These painful traumas are received both from society and from our own actions.

Nataliya Antypina lives and works in Kyiv. She creates ceramic sculptures using hand-building techniques.
Her artistic practice explores self-identity, emotional states, and personal and collective trauma. Working with ceramics as a sculptural medium, she focuses on the expressive potential of form, material, and meaning. Hand-building allows her to engage directly with both the physical and psychological dimensions of material and experience.
